"Don't look back! Don't look back!" I've been chanting those same words in my head for the past five minutes. It's the middle of the night and I've been running through the woods for what feels like hours, but in reality it has only been a few minutes.
I had finally escaped that horrid place where I was taken captive nearly three years ago. I just hope I don't get caught.

Bare with me for this is my first time ever attempting to write something since I don't really see myself as a writer. This is more to see if I am capable of doing so. His Only Possession
After everything that took place in Jade's and Dean's past, it was finally time for them to come together in holy matrimony. He said, stalking closer, his voice smooth as silk, yet has a bit of a rough tone to it , as he placed his hand on on my cheek, and his thumb softly traced my bottom lip, causing a jolt of excitement to travel throughout my body, which I instantly scolded myself for. I shouldn't be affected by him, not anymore. "Well you can't have me!" I slapped his hand away, then pushed him causing him to stumble backwards. I then quickly grabbed my purse, and pulled out my taser. I pointed it towards him as I said "get out! GET OUT!" He seemed surprised for a second but then his face relaxed, as a smirk took place on his lips, he took a few steps towards the door then turned and said "Don't worry Jade, I will have you. Whether you want to or not, I will do whatever it takes to it happen. Mark my words Jade Christina Reaves, you will be mine, and that is a promise."Concluida

We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable.
