After 7 years of Joey Drew Studios beening shut down, 21 year old Parker James struggles to find a new job. She, and the other coworkers, were never told why the studio got shut down. That is, until she's greeted by an old friend, Henry Stein, saying their old boss and friend, Joey Drew, wanted to meet them at the studio. Agreeing, Parker and Henry head to the studio, ready to meet him after years of last seeing him, but things have changed, and they find out the hard way what has become of Joey Drew....
This book takes place 2 years before the events of "6 Forgotten, 1 Chance", and the title of the book was inspired by DAGames's newest Bendy and the Ink Machine song, "Meet Thy Maker."

Everything was going fine at the Joey Drew Studios. Henry is thinking while walking back and forth beside of Joey, who's drawing another frame of Bendy. "I know! We should try to add an antagonist" claims Henry, walking directly towards his pal. "Yeah, great idea, buddy. And do you have an idea?" "Yes. A little devil. A woman devil. Let's call her... Ugh... When she hears that the ink demon is real and lives at the studio, she and both her brothers venture to find her nostalgic demon only to realize he is not the same demon like in the cartoons.
