Stacie Evans is focused on three things-graduating high school, padding her resume by volunteering at the local nursing home, and getting out of tiny-town Twin Peaks, Ohio to go to medical school. But when a new face turns up in the volunteer department at the nursing home and later in her classroom, Stacie makes it her mission to discover his story, uncover his secrets, and perhaps make some memories that will last long after the school year ends. Westley Moore is new to the Twin Peaks, Ohio area. Nobody knows who he is, why he's there, or how exactly someone like him landed a spot in the uppity, private school on the north side of town. The fact that he's from the south side doesn't help with his brittle reputation either. But when he meets Stacie Evans, a fellow worker in the Peaks' Nursing Home, he realizes that maybe his senior year and summer in a new place won't be as uncomfortable as he thinks.

Summer

Summer is intoxicatingly beautiful and she knows it. Everyone wants to be her. Everyone wants to know her. What no one understands is Summer is not as perfect as she seems. Not by a long shot. And trying to hold it all together is like silently suffocating inside her own head. Until she somehow stumbles into Ace, who is as beautiful as he is cruel. He takes what he wants and doesn't care how he gets it. Pushing people away is what he knows and no one dares to get close enough or else they might get ripped to shreds. Summer doesn't trust Ace. She doesn't want or need him. He's frustrating, stubborn and doesn't care about anyone but himself. But a part of her can't help but feel drawn even as destructive and explosive as he seems to be.
