60 years ago, the first of them came. They looked like humans, spoke like them too. They brought gifts of diamonds and gold to prove their wish for peace but nobody on Earth was prepared to see their abilities. There were those who feared them and those who sided with them. The Earth was split in two. War broke out and caused mayhem throughout the country. Generations upon generations of Ichypsians were born and they were taken away. Some were trained to fight, others were tested on. Then there was Lydia. Woken abruptly with no memories of her past life and forced to adapt quickly to a new existence. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.
