Luminary's Demons...

How would the story have changed if the hero was a bit more vocal?

"You know, when I saw you looking down at me in the cabin under the deck, I felt my heart leap for joy. I couldn't place it at the time obviously, but I knew that you were good news. Then everyone else came down, and while I still felt that joy, there was a twinge of sadness." The blue haired male i called my partner fell silent. He looked as though tears were about to form in his eyes.

"Erik, You don-"

"Please let me finish..." Erik interrupted me, and I fell silent. "When you all took me, let me rejoin you, knowing there is a chance I may never get my memories back, I was overjoyed. It didn't take long however, to realize that I was being treated like a frightened cat who's been pampered all his life. I was watched all day, they would always give my pity, something I never wanted. You however, never looked at me in pity, not once. You would share our stories, and when I had headaches from Yggdrasil -knows-where, you helped me with a smile on your face. I'm not and idiot though, and I saw it. Everytime I didn't understand an old joke, or needed to rest due to my head, you also looked like you were going to cry."
