This story is about Stefan and Elena not only getting a second chance at life but in love too. Elena has been human for a while but Stefan was just given the cure. Damon and Elena broke up because he didn't want to take the cure he wanted to stay a vampire. Damon decided that he wanted to give them both their chance at a happy life so he planned to get them both off vervain and compel them to leave Mystic Falls and start over. Then he found out they were back together and that pissed him off so he not only compelled them to leave Mystic Falls and forget him but he also made them forget each other. Now they can both start over. Will they ever find each other again or know what Damon did to them?
