Rapture (also known as the North Atlantic project and the Rapture Colony) is a massive underwater city forged by the personal dreams of Andrew Ryan to escape from the political, social and religious anxieties of a post-World War II world. It was established on November 5, 1946 and finished in late 1951. Rapture lies at the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean, as a gleaming metropolis of massive Art Deco-styled buildings, connected by networks of reinforced glass tunnels, bathysphere systems and submerged railways. It largely resembles the Manhattan borough of New York in both size as well as general appearance. The city is completely self-sustaining and all of its electricity, including pumping networks, water filtration, air purification and defense systems, are powered by the volcanic vents in Hephaestus. Fresh food and oxygen recycling are taken care of by large sections of man-made forest and farm centralized in the Arcadia zone, as well as fish along with other sea life from Neptune's Bounty.
Transportation within Rapture is provided by Rapture Metro, a connected bathysphere system, which consists of spherical pressurized capsules, through which citizens could access most areas of the city. Part of Rapture Metro is the bathysphere inside the remote lighthouse in the North Atlantic, which is Rapture's only entrance from the outside world. Another mode of transportation within Rapture is the Atlantic Express, a pressurized rail system for moving a larger number of citizens (though this mode of transportation was decommissioned a long time ago). Other areas of Rapture are connected through bulkhead doors. Areas within some levels are connected by glass tunnels: smaller ones for pedestrians, larger ones for tramways of a rail system between areas. Rapture is intentionally isolated from the world and the only way to access it seems to be bathyspheres taken down from the lighthouse perched on an island above.........

Humanity has struggled to survive ever since the robotic threat known as the Raptures invaded and took over the surface of planet earth. The only hope humanity has against these mechanical monstrosities are the Nikkes, the Goddesses of Victory, highly advanced combat androids that far surpass humans in all aspects of combat. However humanity views them as expendable tools that can easily be replaced despite all of them having human levels of thinking. Two such individuals however wish to help the Nikkes in their battle against the Raptures. The first the grandson of the company CEO that launched humanity's last functioning satellite and son of the Tetra Line CEO. The other a Commander who will go to great lengths to support his Nikkes while fighting on the surface. Utilizing the technology left behind by Kurenosuke Hiden, these two men will jump to the sky in hopes of reaching a better future for both Humans and Nikkes! Goddess of Victory Nikke belongs to Shift Up and Level Infinite, Kamen Rider belongs to Shotaro Ishinomori and Toei, my OCs and the plot belong to me.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. I feel like Nikke is a slightly misunderstood game. If you can convince someone to look past the obvious, you can discover a great game to play anywhere. Mostly in private. So I want to honor that love from into my very first story here on Wattpad! I see very few stories about Nikke, so I will join them. Whether I am somehow popular from this or no one cares about it, I will do this to respect one of my favorite games. I would like to note before hand that this story is inspired by Attackingoreos and 0SRatz. These two have made some great stories about Nikke and if you just want to read more Nikke content, please check them out and support them! I will always love their stories, but I will try not to do exactly what they do. That is not how you become a better writer!
