Beatrice, the daughter of the Sandman, had only ever had good dreams. However one night, her sleep is plagued by the Dark Breath, the worst demon of them all. She's haunted by it, even when she starts training to be a Nightmare Hunter. Then she meets future best friend, slash Nightmare Hunter Lilith, or Lily Barnes. The two became close instantly.

When one night they come face to face with the Dark Breath, Beatrice is cursed. Her heart slowly turning dark, Lily is desperate to find a cure, before it's too late.
