Dylan Baylor was a bubbly happy blonde haired girl who had amazing talents thanks to her mom and grandma but when she was 13 years old her parents split up and by the time she was 14 her dad was dating her best friend Natasha's mom. When she was 14 she lost her mom and a few short months after that she lost her grandmother the two biggest pillars in her life. She dropped everything that she did as a hobby and quit cheerleading and hide herself away. 

Her world gets even more turned upside down when the spring break during her sophomore year she joins Nat and her friends on a spring break trip and her path crosses with Bucky Barnes. Someone whose well known at their high school who has a girlfriend but he's a party boy and does things he shouldn't behind his girlfriend's back. 

Bucky will soon learn that Dylan wasn't one to play his mind games with when she falls further into her world of hiding. Bucky will have to experience heart break in order to understand what it's like to truly hurt. When years past by between Bucky and Dylan without seeing or speaking to each other will their reunion be bittersweet and he finally learns the truth about Dylan and the pain she hides or will it be unfixable or will it all be a dream for Dylan?
