In that moment, with my clothes still damp and my hair still dripping, I realised that the trajectory of my entire life had been monumentally shifted. The course had changed direction, the tracks set for a new destination, my mundane worries now a long-distant past. It had changed the second I'd knocked on Raf's bedroom door. I'd picked it when I saw his robot-patterned curtain fluttering in the breeze. The leader of the Autobots noticed the new human in his base. I felt the weight of him when his blue eyes pinned themselves on me. His presence stole me of breath, his aura both stifling and magnanimous. The dials of his eyes spun as he silently regarded me. What I didn't realise was just how much my life would change still. ••••• After simultaneously losing her job and stumbling her way into the midst of a secret intergalactic war, workaholic and chronic perfectionist Y/n Esquivel finds herself head-to-head with the version of a self she painfully wished she could be; Autobot leader Optimus Prime. But Optimus Prime's perfectionism was a curse given rather than a boon granted. Beneath his perceived flawlessness is someone lost, grieving, and carrying the burden of millions of deaths on his shoulders. As Y/n and Optimus grow closer, as secrets are unfurled and wishes unravelled, they begin to heal. Though their differences may be stark, they find that their similarities inside are plentiful. But this is still war, and in war, everything sacred is eventually destroyed. --- [optimus prime x reader] [tfp x tfone au]

(A TFP Ratchet x femme reader fanfiction) A love they thought could never be broken. A love they both had since young bots in that small medical class so long ago back on Cybertron. ...A love that abruptly and unwillingly paused for them both. Ratchet felt that sharp pain every day since she offlined hit him deep in the spark, making it almost impossible to breathe. Yet he pushed through, for her. She was gone, and the sparkbond they shared was the only thing that kept him connected to her even though it caused him so much mental and physical pain. Until he impulsively cut it off one day, as his mental health couldn't take the memories that came back to keep him grieving every single day. It hurt him to finally say goodbye, but he needs to let her go so she can Rest in Peace. The bond was erased as Ratchet felt the pain slowly deteriorate away, leaving a forever empty hole in his spark as his lubricated tears leaked down the sides of his cheekplates. It doesn't help that soon into the future, Ratchet will realize just how big of a mistake he made when his supposed offlined sparkmate comes back into his life. Having erased the sparkbond while his lover was in deep stasis, she couldn't file the bond and so her one true love was erased from her processor in an instant. Left with regret for his selfish decisions, Ratchet has one adjective: Make her fall in love with him all over again. After all, there's always an alternative to a negative. - "Irreplaceable...irreplaceable you." Ratchet muttered through his gargled speech, wiping his optics for the millionth time that night. The medbay was silent throughout the still night. It always was. But he knew if she was here she'd be so vividly loud with just her smile it was enough to paint the walls with such euphoria. He clenched his spark as it started to act up just by the thought of her smile. It hurt. But it was worth it. -Started 3/19/21- -Completed 6/23/22-
