As the words from her favourite book rolled off her tongue ever so gracefully, he watched her from his spot on the floor. His lips parted letting a cloud of smoke linger in the air before disappearing into nothing as quickly as it became. She stopped occasionally to take a breath and then proceeded to continue reading. She read of love and pride, of how polar opposites fell in love and lived happily ever after, of how a nerd fell for the bad boy or how the shy girl becomes the cheerleader. But this story speaks of different things, this one is about love and friendship, acceptance and pride. This story is about two people destined for one another but what will happen when not all can be solved with a kiss or slaying the dragon guarding a castle. Will love survive? Was it ever there?
