What is hope? By definition, Hope can be described as an expectation and a feeling of trust. Denotative meanings make it sound so simple even though the word "hope" can be completely and utterly life changing

He was a man who felt nothing-empty, detached, and indifferent to the world. He never caused harm, but he never cared either.
