Eddie Kaspbrak and Richie Tozier are best friends, though everyone knows they have something special. 

Eddie tries to ignore his feelings for Richie, he tells himself that he doesn't like his tall tough best friend, but feelings don't just go away. 

When Richie starts drifting off and starts hanging out less with his friends, Eddie suspects something is going on. 

There's trouble at home for Richie, he hasn't told anyone what happens though, not even Eddie. 

Eddie tries to figure out why his best friend is acting up, in the process of doing so, he learns that Richie isn't as tough as he seems. Everyone has a weak spot. Everyone breaks at some point.

Everything that Eddie avoids in life. But Richie's personality has Eddie like a magnet. Bev met Richie in eighth grade after he was beat up by Bowers and his goons. She remembers it like it was yesterday. She's like a sister to Richie and is always by his side. Most think they're dating despite the rumors about Richie. Bill liked the way Beverly looked since fifth grade. He thought she was really pretty. Short curly hair, green eyes, perfectly pink lips. He thought he was in love with this girl.
