Once, there were four Queens. Ailith, Lachina, Sorcha, and Rhona. Their kingdoms lived in peace and harmony with one another until a deep and gruesome betrayal tore the land apart. In an effort to one day bring peace, the four Queens sent their children to all corners of the world in the hopes that someday they could bring back peace to their people.

Samena has only known the small village she grew up in with her Grandmother. When a stranger knocks on her door in the night she soon uncovers secrets that threaten to destroy everything she thought she knew. He tells tales of villages being burned to the ground by order of the King. The King is looking for something, or someone and the stranger believes she may be able to help him find it first. In an attempt to protect her village from destruction she follows him, but will it be enough?
