Born in a land with no name nor parents. A baby, said to be a gift from the gods themselves, cried softly in the snow, with only a thick blanket and a dark blue medallion.

Accepted by the nearby kin of dragons, she grew up knowing only the draconian language, learning elven and a bit of human language from the elder dragons. Her silver hair, pale skin from the lack of sun in the snowy regions of the north and glowing golden eyes made her look unique. Taken from homeland while near the ocean by a royal elven boat she must learn to gain full control of her powers and get back home.

These are a series of standalone chapters from my upcoming book, Nihilos Draconum: Rise of a Warrior. It entails the life of one of the more important characters in the would be series, Sacreia Valen. It begins with her mother and a little history of the elves. It goes down to how Sacreia was conceived, and what was the result of her birth. Being a half dragon, Sacreia's life is more or less filled with loneliness. People fear and loathe her for the power that slumbers within her. The Red Dragon blood within her causes Sacreia to perform violent and murderous acts as she runs simply on instinct and emotion. Before long she is known as the Crimson Whirlwind by many. But is she truly evil? Or is it Humanity?
