"Well, you see, I am a werewolf," he said hesitantly.
She rolled her eyes. "Is that supposed to be news to me?"
"And, well, you're my mate," he continued.
She raised an eyebrow, annoyance apparent in her eyes. "I know."
"Um, well, since you are taking this well, I'll also add in that I am the Beta of this pack," he said, smiling nervously.
'Well, this was something new.'
She finally let a small smile grace her lips. "Interesting."
Then, she fainted.

When Amy moves to a new town, the last thing she expects is to be mates with the Beta of Freedom Knights pack.
Oblivious to the fact that if she does not get marked in a month, she might die, she decides that she should concentrate on her studies more than the mysterious green-eyed guy who gives her tingles every time they touch.
Matters get more complicated when the Beta is too shy to make a move on her and get her to like him within the span of a month.
