"Baby, could you go see if Uncle Jess is back while mommy and Sammy have a little talk?" She meant it as a question but it came out more of an order. Leo immediately wiggled in Samaël's arms until he was dropped onto the floor and ran out.

Instantly Ezra gripped Samaël's throat and pushed him up against the wall. The impact cause the wind to be knocked right out of his lungs as he gasped harshly. His eyes bulged out in shock as she squeezed harder, leaning in.

"Don't you dare manipulate my son for your own selfishness. I can and will destroy you. So don't think for a second that I'll hesitate, because I won't." Her eyes glowed silver as she thrusted the demon to the side, sending him tumbling on the small bed.

She growled at him then turned with an extra sway in her hips out of the bedroom.

Samaël stayed there breathless for a minute then chuckled lowly. His eyes turned completely black as he smirked at the door.

"A little feisty Alpha she is, uh?"
