Royce Gray is a southern gentleman. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He's 19 when his father decides it's time to move and live somewhere away from the pain of the loss of his mother.
Moving to Forks, Washington is the last thing he wants to do. He's grown to love the melting heat of Texas and now he's stuck in rainy Forks where it takes a miracle for the sun to come out. He doesn't think he'll ever like Forks. Until of course someone gives him reason to.
