James Stevenson never imagined what was beyond the clouds...the border of the Nine Island Archipelago. But when he is captured and meets a girl who just so happens to be the fiance of the chief of Berk, he is forced to enter s new world. A world where there is no magic, and dragons are plentiful, but cannot speak. As a new enemy rises and the bond between James and Berk grows stronger, what will decide the fate of the dragons, and the fate of James family, and maybe even himself.
The characters in this book (except those from the Nine Islands) are created by Dean DeBlois and Cressida Cowell.
This was made before I knew the story of the Hidden World, and the book after will follow the events of that movie.
