It's been years since the war ended, but for some it has taken this long to find themselves. Harry and Ginny split up the year before James started Hogwarts and she His much happier with her new girlfriend. Harry on the other hand has gone from Auror to father and now professor of DADA at said school. With things in his family life and professional going so well maybe his personal life can finally get some attention.
