When a teenager named Madran in the Japanese metropolis of Shibuya is visited by a mysterious man named Philemon in her dreams, she is tasked with the simple yet vague goal of "assisting the trickster." Then, a weird app that allows her to enter the distorted worlds inside corrupt and evil hearts appears on her phone. She chooses her father and is thrown into a world where evil beings reign, her dad's corrupt desires have taken fruition, and her personality takes form in an evil-fighting spirit named a Persona.
