Meet Micah. He's your average boy; he eats junk food, has stupid friends, wants to have the most fun on summer break this year. But all of his plans change when on the last day of school he's dared by his buddies to steal the principles nice car and he willingly accepts the challenge, thinking that he can easily outsmart the cops.
Big shocker: he doesn't.
Since he's still a minor and didn't cause anything harm, he's offered two options. Spend a month in Juvie, or spend the rest of his summer volunteering for community service at a local complex ballet studio, where only the best dancers train. He thinks it'll be easy: just cleaning an enormous building everyday for the next three months. But that's until he meets Kieran. She's shy and dark, and has an obsession with being better at ballet than her nemesis, Marie. But will this obsession be more than something addictive? And is Micah getting in over his head when he pursues the girl who looks to have severe mental issues? Only time will tell.
