Ruena Fierath, a 16 year old girl, gets sent by her Grandfather to live in a strange house in a heavily wooded and cold area of Wales of which she had no idea existed. She comes across vampires, finds out about the supernatural, and her parents. But the one question she feels she has to know, is why her Grandfather was weeping as she set off? Why was she there? Can she fix these creatures perception on human life?
