This is a short story written at 3am when I found a writing challenge on Pinterest.
The challenge was to use a sentence at the start and at the end of a short story, at first it should seem innocent but by the end there is a much deeper, colder meaning to the sentence.

I naturally took this challenge and wrote something as best as I could.

Now here's a warning: 

⚠️  This story contains hints of suicide and abuse, don't read this if you're sensitive to that kind of thing! ⚠️
