Taken for a Spin

Kalena Chandler: The unpopular but funny, good friend, listener and knows how to cheer anyone up. Doesn't necessarily get invited to parties, but is loyal to her few friends. She's also a gifted artist, and creates pins and other merchandise as something on the side to make money from at home.

One day, the new boy in town, Izaac or 'Zack' Myles catches her eye for a moment. She sees that he has one of her exclusive pins she makes and sells online, but she forgets about him in just a second's time once she learns he is a grade under her.

Then, that day she learns he is helping to decorate and participate in a special dance and plat for a major school event, the same one she and her best friend Brooke are involved in as well.

After they're paired to dance together by a strange, suspicious coincidence and share conflicting roles in a play, they're forced to get to know each other a bit more.

The event's dance and play, along with her art were her one way tickets to getting closer to him, and no one would predict what happened when the event finally came around.

Now, after dancing and acting with the seemingly shy boy, she's fallen in love and now admires him from afar, cursing the world for having him in a different grade than her, limiting how much they can speak.. but she's determined to have him and his babyface, one way or another.
