He pushes the bounds of what can be invented, but not all goes well. The scientist goes missing without a single trace of where he's been taken. The two go on to become the most feared hitmen in the underground, going by the name "Machina Mortis". Axis, with programmed loyalty to the mercenary and to the contract, suddenly has a glitch in his programming after an unexpected development during a mark which causes him to break from his prime directives and ignite a part of himself that Axis didn't know had existed.
