Nobles are being killed off almost everyday and it's Kasumi's job to figure out why or it's quite literally, off with her head. 

She has to work with someone who claims to be a wizard of sorts, along with a teenager, deal with the uprisings of people turning on the royal family, and find out what the reason behind all of this was.

 Not to mention try not to go insane before it's all over.

The real question is, which side is "good" and which side is "evil"? Is Kasumi really on the right side?
