my story will be about a kid named josh and his friend serenity and john.They will be going home from school as they find out that their lives might be lost as they watch the news the purge will start in 2 hours. will they survive or perish?

Some Kind Of Disaster
Alex is a fifteen year old boy who had the worst luck in life. He'd witnessed his parents deaths, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, but this was the last time. His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran. There was only one person he trusted, and it was the boy he met at school on his first day there. He barely knew this boy, but when he needed a friend, this sweet, raven haired boy told him the most important word that he hadn't heard in a long time. "You're safe." Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place. Jack was the boy's name, and Jack made Alex feel safe and loved. Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Jack or Alex, and this story is simply a figment of my imagination. The world has never been so dark. Ever since they came, they have rampaged the streets, taken so many lives and changed the course of the world. The world is in ruins, and only a handful survive. Seren is one of those handful of people remaining. How she adapts from an aloof and reclusive 16 year old, to constantly having to watch her back, as this world around her become more dark and in despair. Even in the light of the day. This is dedicated to my greatest, forever loved childhood boy best friend and unrequited first love. Although we have grown very far apart, you are the inspiration behind my words for this novel, and I hope that one day we can reconcile and start afresh and return to the two peas in a pod we used to be. You are a true inspiration in my main character, and it just goes to show you that the most strangest, quietest and quirkiest of people can become the strongest of heroes.
