Excerpt from CH 19

Looking around for the first time, I searched the faces of the people, panic rising in my throat as I almost expected to see him come out of the crowd.

Sensing my unease Rider's eyes frowned in concern "You ok?" Lying I nodded and continued to scope out the room. From a corner I saw her, the glare on her face was deadly. As our eyes connected a feeling of relief flooded me that it was just Deanne, not Owen.

Smiling I looked back to the gorgeous man holding me in his arms and held his eyes "We have a spectator" I said laughing.

Without looking around or missing a beat he replied "We have a lot of those hon, anyone in particular?"

"Just your stalker" I joked.

"Well in that case," he said without even a glance in anyone's direction, his breath on my lips holding his face close to mine, our noses touching he looked deep into my eyes "let's make sure my 'stalker' sees what a man head over heels is supposed to look like" and then we connected, his kiss declaring to the world his desire for me with pure unadulterated passion.
