The Consortium of Planets decides to send a small exploration team to check out a new planet that has moved into orbit around the sun. It is believed to be an ice giant from beyond our solar system that appeared with no notice, one day everything looked normal and then there was a new planetary body past Pluto.

The planets were all doing what they usually did. Sun talking with Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars playing solar cards, Jupiter and Saturn talking, Uranus writing in his diary, Neptune talking to asteroids, etc. that was until, they all passed out. During the final decades of the twenty first century, a rogue brown dwarf star passed through the solar system and its gravity threw the Earth out of orbit around the sun. Two hundred years later, when the atmosphere has finished freezing onto the surface, explorers from the last refuge of humanity venture out to see what's become of their world. Things looks bleak.
