JuJu and her best friend Lala opened their bakery 3 years ago. Smooches was their dream, they want to make it bigger than just a bakery, but financially it isn't possible at the moment. Through loans that they realized were bad too late, they still struggled to make it by. Bills at home were piling up and they just wanted to keep their dream going.

Troy and Dravion came to the states 5 years ago from London. By age 30, they became successful in their own right as real estate magnates. Once they've had a taste of JuJu's amazing sweets and Lala's cooking, they were hooked. Not only on the food, but the women as well. JuJu wants Troy and Troy definitely wants her, but he's worried about involving her in his ties.

The ladies fall into deeper financial trouble at the bakery and home. Nothing seems to be working, they've tried every possible avenue. JuJu then makes the difficult decision to visit a person she swore she wouldn't go back to. But feelings between Troy and JuJu spikes and now she can't really have who she'd been wanting the past three years.
