Where Ava and Wes butt heads a little too often, literally. Ava knows what she wants out of life, her wings may be clipped but she's going to do whatever she can to be able to escape. So what if she's been a little sheltered her entire life, she's determined to learn everything she doesn't know, go everywhere there is to go and she'll see everything there is to see. It'll happen, something wonderful will definitely happen, she can feel it. Wes is stubborn, he can be an asshole sometimes, he'll even admit that he drinks and smokes a little too much. But he's also an artist, not a tortured one, mind you, or that's what he tells himself. He's accepted that life doesn't give two shits about him, he's fine with that but he can't help but yearn for something more. He's probably just fooling himself but he can't help it. But despite all their differences, all the arguments and all the times they've wanted to strangle one another, along the way they learn that perhaps what you need the most is sometimes right under your nose.
