Having no powers in a world filled with people with powers is kinda lame I guess cause it makes you feel inferior and you start to question " why them and not me?", " what makes them so special?".
My name is Jack lionel and I was born into a family of sentinels yet I just found out I'm a cyan. Cyan's are what we call people with powers while sentinels are what we call the rest, now me being a cyan isn't that surprising but being one from a family of sentinels has never happened before until now.

You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists.
