A cat comes out of nowhere and meets the two travellers on their way to daigos land. She reveals herself as a female neko and decides to join the young male and the female child on their adventures.

Once she learns what her travel companion really is, she can truly relate to all the pain hes feeling. She could only imagine how much worse his situation is compared to hers though.

What will happen when she finally learns her background and what she really is? Will he hate her? Will he abandon her? Or will he kill her?

Upon returning, Chiyo learns what happened to her best friend and spends the next 50 years making herself stronger all while disguised as a man to make travel easier. Inuyasha is awakened and she searches all over the place for Inuyasha. After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
