One Saturday night as Kane was spending his usual hour at the pond, he notices something he never noticed before: a merman living within the pond water, growing an attachment to the human who would seemingly visit him every week. After Kane learns about Caspian's past and how he ended up at the pond, he promises to take him back to the ocean. Although, Caspian isn't too keen on going back now that he's become intrigued with the man who's spent more attention to him than anyone else in his entire life.
