After 15-year old Erin's parents buy a boat house, they decide to surprise her with a cruise. It doesn't end so well, though. When an unannounced storm hits the ocean, Erin's cruise ship goes down. But there's a catch. She survived and, as far as she knows, she is the only one. After being pulled to safety by an unexpected guest, Erin finds herself stuck on the shore of an island. And there is no one in sight. Struggling to keep hydrated and fed, she barely stays alive. But can she keep it up and go home to her family or will she die alone on a deserted island?
