Abigail was born in 1776 into a wealthy family. As a 12 year old, she was born to two successful parents who would smuggle English data to the Americans to fight the American revolution. She had one older brother who had died in war prior to when she could even account to remember him. Her father, a military commander, always travelling and away from home. Her mother, a strict teacher, who had quit her job to look after Abigail while her father was off on important missions.
She had an incredible desire to explore the ocean and had felt connected to it somehow. However her mother did not tolerate this, banishing her from ever leaving the capital, London. Her mother still cared for her, teaching her sewing, simple medicines, and what to do if she ever found herself to the surrender of a bomb.
As Abigail's brother had previously died, she would have to carry on her family's legacy. However, one day she couldn't stand this life any longer...
