Have you ever wonder about whether you are surrounded by people like you but are different? Well, that is the world we live in the world we know of is surrounded by supernatural beings without the knowledge of it. By day we the supernatural live along side humans but by night we are hidden in the shadows while humans are asleep we are out causing problems. This is our story we are known as THE SECRET SOCIETY and now that you know who we are there is no turning back.

Some things you just can't avoid, like falling in love. As much as you try to avoid, or search for it, it always seems to find you, or elude you. They call people who are like me, the Indigos. We are a group of people who have been here for a very, very, long time. Longer than witches, werewolves, vampires, or other supernatural beings. People have called us freaks or monsters. They are scared of us and what we will do to them. That is why we hide in the shadows and not make us known to the supernatural community. But we make sure that we know about everyone else. We are different from the others. We practice a very special type of magic that no one knows about. We can transform into different animals without it hurting. We are immortal, but we do not drink blood. There are other things about us, but people don't need to know everything. The Originals think they know everything, but they don't.
The Beautiful Ones
Some say we're special, and that's why we're kept in seclusion. Beyond those walls evil lurks and innocent prey would be lost in minutes. Gone. Destroyed. Forgotten. Others say the opposite: we're locked away because there's something wrong with us. If we roamed the outside world, we might taint the beautiful ones. A species so pure, that to merely be in their presence is a gift. As for my beliefs...I'm not sure. But I do know one thing: neither of those reasons explains why it is that they come for us only after we've passed the age of sixteen.
