As a developing child, it is a process of growing up to get baptized. It's not only a must, but could have deadly side effects if ignored. Most children receive their soaking in water around four to seven years of age, but for Cairo, she has yet to be cleansed.
No one has ever gone as long as Cairo has without being introduced to water. This makes Cairo rare.
Did I mention the process of getting baptized is excruciatingly painful?

Lola Shane, 15 and in her last year of middle school. Her biggest worry was picking out the car she wanted for her 16th birthday.
