As an alien invasion begins, a hiking trip with friends turns into a survival mission and an epic adventure. When Morgan finds herself alone, who will she trust and who will be her best ally against the apocalypse? Faced with the struggle against these aliens, she has to decide who, or what, will be by her side as she fights for her life. Where will this survival adventure even take her? And what is she willing to do to save her own life and even her planet?
This story is currently under editing: none of the plot will change, only adding details and revising words etc.

The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up.
