Brooke Sands was a normal teenager living on the coast of Tampa Florida with her older brother Troy on the edge of the sea. However, there was one secret they his from the rest of the world. Brooke and Troy were mermaids from a royal family and heir to the throne. After Brooke's brother Troy ran away from home after fearing he would make a poor king, Brooke was their second option. But Brooke only followed in her brothers footsteps on leaving after being set up for an arranged marriage. So Brooke and Troy had changed themselves into a human form and moved to the closest land, Tampa Florida. However trouble doesn't leave that far from home when Brooke realizes that her ex fiancé found her on land.
