Sher couldn't possibly leave Piers when he was going through so much, even though she barely knew him. It was inevitable however that they would grow close. They are now best friends. Not in the the convectional way however. Because if it was, the world wouldn't be trying to get them to go to the next level.*sigh. That's just everyone's problem. Right? Can't a girl and a boy have a platonic connection? She wants to think that that's possible but she cannot explain the maddening attraction that she has just started feeling for her best friend. Is it a phase? Is it real? What is it? Piers is determined to not screw this up, even though that's all he seems to be doing. His life had completely changed one afternoon. Even his goals had been caught in this catastrophe. Even though he had lost so much in such a short period of time, he had also gained some. Piers was convinced that being with Sher was going to ruin everything about them. He tried everything to not show just how crazy he was about her, until he felt like she was slipping right through his fingers. Would she ever forgive him?

Olivia Wren grew up in a strict household-the kind with rules for everything: when to go to bed, where she could be, and constant location tracking the second she left the house. Most teenagers would've rebelled. But not Liv. She followed every rule down to the last letter. So when she got to college, it made sense that she'd use her freedom to the fullest. Parties, late nights, no one watching her every move. For a while, it felt like everything she'd missed out on. But after two years, the freedom starts to lose its shine. With nothing solid to fall back on, Liv lets herself go. It takes hitting a low point to realize that the girl she's become isn't who she wants to be anymore. Then there's Jace Rylan Camden. The kind of guy Liv's sworn off. He shows up to class drunk on the first day-not exactly the best first impression. He's an athlete, lives in a frat house, and hangs out with his loud group of friends. Basically, everything Liv's tried to leave behind. But when casual class interactions turn into seeing each other outside of it, Liv starts to question whether she's really moved on-or if Jace might be different from what she thought. Especially when the two stumble into a fake relationship- kind of will be hard to keep away from each other this way huh?
