Jaslynn Lawson, a 17 year old who was forced to grow up before she was ready. See many children around Jaslynns age would be out partying their lives off, with not a single care in the world. Having a mother that is hung up on cocaine and needles won't do you any good. Typical; no good, dead-beat father not in the picture. Jaslynn spent the last 17 years raising herself. Jaslynn feeling trapped wasn't just for a little point in her life, feeling trapped was her way of living. She wants to succeed in life so bad, going to work, keeping her grades up, making sure her mother is still breathing every morning is a lot to take on for someone who is still in high school.
