Many people have come and gone from the Stargate program over the years, Amelia Torres was one of them.  She had been military member of the Atlantis program, since the cities return to Pegasus, over two years ago.  
               One routine, yet  ill-fated off-world mission. Her entire team, vanished without a trace. Having fallen prey, to a most unusual culling. Amelia wakes up in the clutches of Wraith...
                  Can she keep her origin a secret?
                      Or will she give in to her captor's?
                         Can she survive being Lost and alone?
                                                              ...with no hope of escape?

*** Time setting: Sometime after the show's ending. Atlantis is forced leave Earth, returning a newly stocked city of the Ancestors back to the Pegasus galaxy.  For now assume Atlantis has been running Stargate mission's and fending off Wraith, like normal, during that time. Details on what we will call..."The mystery year's" to be filled in, as necessary, during the story.

But those two days resulted in a nine month pregnancy and an adorable little girl. Meredith Greer never told Steve about his daughter. Instead, she put that child up for adoption. A family in northeast Georgia took in that baby girl and Greer never looked back. Now, years later, that girl come home to find her parents murdered. When a DNA test reveals that child's parents, she is forced to leave Georgia and go to live in Hawaii with her real father. (I couldn't find anywhere in the series where is said Agent Greer's first name, nor was it on fandom wiki or anything.
