The year is 1975 and Lily Evans is starting her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
She has just been named Gryffindor prefect and starts developing a friendship with fellow-prefect Remus Lupin. But while Hogwarts students are busy studying for their O.W.L.s, dark forces led by Lord Voldemort seek to conquer the wizarding world. As a muggle-born, Lily faces hostility even at her beloved Hogwarts. Will her friendship with Severus Snape be able to overcome these challenges? Will her sister Petunia finally accept Lily as she is? And what does her new friend Remus Lupin have to hide?
