The year is 5897 and almost all of our species has either died or has become one of them. The Chasers, an advanced society of humans that want to change the world for their own needs.Unless you're like me, a girl that doesn't even want to be related to the top officer in The Chasers. You've probably already guessed it. He's my dad. Truth is I never wanted to be the "only" girl that has powers. So instead of embracing my powers, I was forced to manipulate them into doing what my father wanted. Just so that he could please the Head Leader of The Chasers. I've always wondered what it would be like if I escaped. So I did, and trust me on this. I had no idea what was coming my way. Or should I say certain someone's. Oh, and one more thing before I forget, there's zombies...

"Daddy, please don't turn off the lights. The monsters will find me." Ana pleaded as she pulled the covers up to her nose. "Don't worry, Ana. There's no such thing as monsters." Frank answered before flexing dramatically, earning a giggle from her, "Besides, if they tried to hurt you, I'd just beat 'em up!" "Promise?" "Promise." He kissed her forehead before he tucked her in and turned off the light. "Goodnight, angel." --- The world changed overnight. A mysterious system appeared in everyone's minds announcing the detection of a "Breach." Monsters unlike anything humanity had ever seen before began to emerge, immediately ending one-third of the world's population. And that was just in the beginning. Every father wants to be their daughter's hero. It's an unspoken rule written into every man's DNA. But most fathers aren't pitted up against eight legged abominations. Frank was just an ordinary man; no training, no experience, just depression and a four year old. Yet, he was all that stood between Ana and certain death. If that's the way it was, then he couldn't back down. He made a promise, and he would keep it or die trying. Luckily, the world wasn't entirely merciless. This "System" granted humanity a fighting chance: otherworldly gifts and powers that defied the laws of nature. While Frank's gift wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, it did give him power. Power enough to hopefully keep his daughter safe, and punish the monsters that dared threaten her in the first place!
