They say there's a reason for everything. That there is a reason why you feel the way you do or why something happens. I'm here to tell you that there's a real reason behind those reasons. Too real, in fact.
Those reasons are because of the gods walking among us. They look just like ordinary people, talking and living, but they are immortal. You may recognize them from paintings painted long ago by Leonardo Da Vinci, or even Picasso. But they're the reason why every little thing happens.
Don't believe me? Think back to the time when you were so in love with something you thought you were gonna die, but then later that feeling resided to just love. That's because you were in the presence of Malia, goddess of love. That time you were so angry you wanted to punch someone for no apparent reason? Iesus, god of war. Starting to believe me now?
Just like everyone else, these gods have children. Most don't have special abilities, as the mortal gene is dominant, but others do inherit their godly parents abilities. These kids specialize in a certain aspect of their parent's abilities, and therefore are sent to a special academy where they can practice their abilities in peace. Since most are half mortal and half god, they are able to live relatively normal lives with their abilities.
However, there are times when two of these gods have children. Instead of being immortal like usual, they turn up being mortal due to some genetic mutation. These are known as hemigods, and they specialize in their own unique ability. One hemigod is rare, however, and is immediately killed upon discovery....
My name is Ariana Kingsley, otherwise known as the next Elemental.

Instead of the heroine, she accidentally selects the avatar of Lady Arthemice-the infamous Villainess known for her cruel reputation. Determined not to be a victim again, Faerie resolves to embrace her new role as the Villainess. With her newfound power, she'll carve her own path in this treacherous world, using every challenge to build her reputation. But the question remains: can she truly survive-and thrive-in a world where one wrong move could mean her end? "I would make Arthemice into a true villainess, not the childish one from the game I once played. Because right now, I, Faerie, embrace the darkness. I wanted to be the Villainess." ╔═════════ ◈ ═════════╗ Welcome to "Goddesses and the Villainess," dear player!
