If you listen to the rumours, after the Deathwave they started appearing from the wastes, people with no soul or conscience, although once human they now could be described as monsters. You'd think I'd agree, seeing as I ran away from them. But from where I stand, it's Humans who are the monsters.

During the final decades of the twenty first century, a rogue brown dwarf star passed through the solar system and its gravity threw the Earth out of orbit around the sun. Two hundred years later, when the atmosphere has finished freezing onto the surface, explorers from the last refuge of humanity venture out to see what's become of their world. Things looks bleak. Mankind faces a future of huddling in whatever warm refuges it can make for itself until the Earth's core goes cold, but then a discovery is made. An opportunity exists for mankind to leave the planet and find its destiny among the stars, but to do so requires an all or nothing gamble and losing would mean the end of the human race. Some want to take the gamble. Others don't, and so conflict and violence breaks out as the survey teams explore a planet transformed out of all recognition...

Can you find love during the outbreak of a pandemic? Maggie is a brilliant, upcoming, and socially awkward scientist. After being recruited for a research team that is developing a COVID-19 vaccine, she unexpectedly finds love at the worst possible moment. Noah is a carefree university student. Maggie isn't like any girl he'd ever met but he's immediately drawn to her just as the pandemic separates them. Is it even possible for them to create and sustain a relationship? This story inspired by real events that took place Feb-May 2020 but it is fiction, fiction, fiction. This story is complete. A story that I wrote for a writing challenge on an app called Amino. They had no idea what the tree would challenge them all with. In a trip back to their darkst pasts and deepest secrets, Annbeth, Gabriella and Gwen take on the challanges. But, will all of them come out alive?

The time has finally arrived, where the earth has reached its limit. Food, water, and land, all luxuries we've taken for granted, have been slowly looming down on us as a possible issue of the future. But that was just it. An issue of the future. So we ran and ran until we were backed right into a corner. The future has now become the present, and we can no longer run. So how does humanity respond, when it's very existence is threatened? Does it respond with words? With ideas and theories? But what if that doesn't work? Does it respond by blade? How will humanity take on its biggest enemy yet... itself.
