Mixed Up Magic!

Magic was the main means of combat, fun, and if you're lucky, making a living, but this all depends on what kind of magic you're good at, some learn the magic of festivities, which consist of launching lights into the sky and the lights burst into various shapes and even words. Combat magic was an entirely different story.
Combat magic was used to fight the enemies of humanity; monsters, bandits, and the like. The people tasked with this job are called Maguses, some are Knights and others are simple Wizards with no hand to hand combat.

Another thing about this world is the groups of Maguses that are formed all over the world of Celsteel, they are called Guilds. These Guilds are formed to either travel the world assisting others, or they stay in a single area and guard it with all they've got. One of these Guilds is the prosperous and famous Guardians of Legacy, a large group of Maguses, knights and Wizards alike, they stay in the city of Connam, the largest city on the continent of Higk. This group set rules around the city, no law-breaking amongst each other, but people have found ways to sneak around these rules, even though these ways are forbidden.
Another, equally infamous Guild known as The Braves, travel around Celsteel, its seas, its lands and even its skies. These four have been noted to be extremely powerful, yet just as childish and immature. Especially its youngest member.
