A foreign meteor has stuck the Earth, unleashing viral bugs that have taken over the planet in swarms. Only a hand full of humanity is left to defend what was once there home.
Amelia King, lost and afraid of being out in the open world, finds an unlikely friend that helps her through the overgrown cities and wild neighbour hoods, to be reunited with her family.
But this new friend of hers seems to be suspicious when travelling. Is she hiding something? And if so, why does she know so much about the barren world?
